Jeffrey R. Koren, MD, FACOG
Total Woman Healthcare is the medical practice of Dr. Jeffrey R. Koren, a sole practitioner whose experience includes responsibility as Chief Resident in obstetrics and gynecology at a major hospital. He has practiced in Central Florida for 22 years. When you make an appointment with our office, you know you will always see the same physician. Also, Dr. Koren believes patient education is a big part of wellness; he spends an extraordinary amount of time with each patient.
Qualifications
Dr. Koren has worked in private practice since 1982.
He is board certified and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
He has received the American Medical Association’s Physician Recognition Award every year since 1991.
He graduated from the University of Florida College of Medicine in 1978 and earned his undergraduate degree
in Chemistry and Biology magna cum laude) from the University of Miami.
He completed his internship and residency at Miami’s Jackson Memorial Hospital, and became the hospital’s Chief Resident, Obstetrics-Gynecology, in 1981. In addition to his 25 years of professional experience, Dr. Koren has advanced training in the areas of laparoscopy and other reproductive tract surgical procedures, the care and treatment of infertility, and the management of high-risk pregnancies.
Dr. Koren has served as Chairman of Av-Med Health Plan’s Quality Improvement Committee, and he is frequently called as an expert on obstetrics and gynecology issues in court proceedings throughout the United States.
