Very disappointing experience.

My appointment was rescheduled three different times, and when I was finally seen, I waited for hours despite arriving early. The visit itself lasted only a few minutes, and my concerns were dismissed without any real explanation or treatment plan.

I was told I had to schedule a follow-up appointment just to receive my ultrasound and blood test results. Then I was told they would be available in the patient portal—but they have never been uploaded. I have paid every bill, including unexpected charges, yet I still do not have access to my own medical records.

I went there looking for answers about my health and left feeling ignored, overcharged, and without the results I paid for. I cannot recommend this office based on my experience.

Answer to Total Women: It’s frustrating that your response to my review was simply to tell me to email your office, when I had already sent a detailed formal complaint before posting my review.

I scheduled an appointment because I wanted to talk to a menopause specialist. The website says they specialize in menopause care, and I wanted to discuss my options first.

Instead, the nurse called me and immediately started asking if I wanted a specific treatment. I told her I wanted to speak with the specialist before deciding on any treatment, but she kept saying that was the treatment they offered and asked if I wanted it. At that point, I said that if I couldn’t speak with the specialist first, they could just cancel my appointment. So they canceled it.

OMG THE STAFF THERE ARE INCREDIBLE (NOT ANGRY LOVE TYPING IN CAPS LOOKS BETTER) SO NOW THE STAFF FROM THE FRONT DESK: NATALIE, VICTORIA JOA, KIKI LETS NOT FORGET ROGER WHO WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY JUST A LITTLE INSIGHT I HAD AN APPOINTMENT ON JULY 10th 2026! I CHECKED IN AND WAS TOLD I COULD NOT BE SEEN DUE TO MY PCPS OFFICE DID NOT GIVE VALID AUTHORIZATION NUMBER! ROGER CAME OUT AN SAT WITH ME IN THE WAITING ROOM AND USED HIS OWN PERSONAL CELL PHONE TO CALL THE REFERL COORDINATOR TO GET THE CORRECT AUTHORIZATION NUMBER! SINCE WHAT I HAD WASN’T VALID! THE LADIES AT FRONT DESK ARE ALWAYS POLITE AND GREETS YOU WARM SMILES AND GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! THEN THERES MILESSA THE ULTRASOUND TECHNICIAN WHOS ALWAYS SMILING AND MAKES SURE YOU’RE COMFORTABLE DURING YOUR PROCEDURE AND FINALLY LETS NOT FORGET DR VASQUEZ SHE MAKES SURE YOU ARE KNOWLEDGEABLE AND INFORMED ABOUT THE PRESCRIPTIONS SHE GIVES YOU! There's an old expression about sports, "You are what the back of your sportscard says you are". What that means is no matter what you do today, tomorrow or next month, no matter how outstanding in that fleeting moment you are, ultimately you are what the back of that card says you are.
In the case of Total Woman Healthcare, Dr Vazquez is really good, the care provided is what should be expected. But this is a TEAM effort and because the TEAM is where the breakdown begins, that's what demands a single star review. Prescription refills are requested from pharmacies and go unanswered until they are cancelled. Repeated calls to the practice are met with being told that the Doctor will be advised to "Oh yeah, we submitted that for you". This charade goes on for weeks and it's either the worst qualified support staff on Earth or the Doctor is at fault. Neither is acceptable.
So I'm not sure what those 5 star reviews are, maybe paid, maybe staff, I can't say. But those 1 star reviews are very telling. The sad part is if you read through them you'll see a response from the practice assuring the reviewer that they are taking this VERY seriously and they respect and appreciate their patients. I'm sure this will result in one as well, but yeah, you are what the back of your sportscard says you are.
